Halloween Finally Came!!

After a week full of exciting Halloween fun, the actual day finally came! Luke was so excited he could hardly stand it. Our friends, the Bakers, organized a fun trick-or-treating outing along with a great party. We started by going trick-or-treating to the Alzheimer Center and then to the South Davis Hospital. By the end of that the kids buckets were full to the brim. That is one way to get large quantities of candy(and by large quantity I mean wayyyy tooooo much candy) in a short amount of time. After that we headed over to the Baker's house for games, cup cakes, soup and hot dogs and ended with a fun pinata. What a great Halloween!

Fun, Fall and Leaves!

Luke has been dying to play in the leaves ever since he saw the first leaf fall, so yesterday afternoon I finally gave in and went in the backyard and raked up a pile of leaves for him to play in. He had a blast and now he keeps asking me when we are going to go jump in the leaves again:)!

The Halloween Fun Continues....Miller Halloween Party

Thank goodness for my cute cute friend Julie, who throws fantastic parties for 4 year olds! Julie invited all the sunbeams over for a fun Halloween party, and when I say fun...Luke is still going on and on about it. In fact, he asked me if we could do a Halloween party in our backyard sometime and I told him "we don't have to, Julie takes care of that:)!"

The cute kids who all had a blast!
Just when I thought all the fun was over, Julie let kids smash the pumpkins!

This party was every 4 year olds dream. Games, prizes, hot dogs, stories, and then more games! Thank you Julie for a great party!

More Halloween Fun...Seljaas Family Halloween Party!

Tonight we had a Halloween party at my brothers house. It was a fun night, we had chili, a treasure hunt, lots of treats and pumpkin carving. Luke is just loving all of this Halloween celebrating! Luke and Tessa had lots of fun with their cousins.

Let the Halloween Festivities Begin....Spooktacular!

Last night the local Rec Center had a Halloween Spooktacular which consisted of lots of games, bounce houses, haunted houses and trick-or-treating. Barrett was busy with a carpet cleaning job and I wasn't sure I wanted to take on this adventure by myself but I decided that the kids would love it so I decided to go. We had been there for only about ten minutes when we ran into our good friends, the Bakers. I have to thank Jon for all of these great pictures since I wasn't brave enough to to venture with my kids and a camera. So BIG thank you to Jon and Melissa for the pictures. The kids had a great time and it was really quite an impressive party that the rec center threw!

Playing Catch Up

Time to play catch up. I know I haven't been a great blogger as of late, I hope to be better, but no promises:)! It seems like whenever I have spare time the last thing I want to do is to blog, but I know it is important because this is my family journal. So, hopefully the is the last catch up blog for awhile. Another side note, I have taken lots of great pictures lately, only to find out that I didn't have my memory card in my camera. Major bummer. Anyway, here are some catch up photos.

I helped my friend Steph make a Tangled cake for her daughter Kenzi's birthday.

The finished product!

We went with friends to see the fun witches at Gardner Village. We have done this for the past couple of years and we have a great time! (I took a bunch of pictures at the witches that would have been fantastic had I had the memory card in, so thanks Lisa for letting me steal these!)

Today Luke's preschool class got to go on a field trip to the fire station. I have only been hearing about this for the past week or two straight! Needless to say, Luke was excited.

Listening to one of the firefighters talk about the ambulance.

Here is his preschool class, with his cute teacher Mrs. Wing and one of the fire fighters
Luke loved every minute of his visit to the fire station and has now decided that he is going to be a firefighter when he grows up. The firefighters explained to the kids that when they are on duty they live at the fire station and sleep there and that they had rooms and a kitchen up stairs. Luke's only concern is that if when he becomes a firefighter they will have a spare bed for him when it is his turn to live there! I love that kid!
