Busy Month

We have had a super busy past month, so here is the rundown. Once again, this is my family journal/scrapbook so if you don't want to see a plethora of pictures of Luke, stop now!

Family Reunion
Barrett's family had a family reunion at the beginning of the month. It started with a boating trip to Dear Creek. Luke loves to knee board and he thinks it is always his turn.

The next day we all met up at a park and ate, visited and played games. Luke had a blast with all of his second cousins.

Luke absolutely adores his Great Grandpa "Pops" and he loved that Pops has these cool new wheels while he is recovering from foot surgery. It was so cute to see them cruising around.

Weekend Getaway

A couple of weeks ago we went to Midway to our friends, the Hess', cabin with several other families. We had such a great time. We ate (and ate and ate), played games, had fun at the lake, and went fishing. It was such great weekend. Thanks to all of our great friends and especially the Hess family for making it possible!

When we got there on Friday we went over to the fishing pond, the building was closed so we just played in the water and at the park. I took about 6 pictures of these cuties and not one of them was looking at the camera in any of the 6 pictures!

Friday afternoon we were finally able to go fishing after it finally stopped raining and hailing. Luke loved it, but I think Barrett liked it just as much. He loved trying to teach Luke and trying to get him to hold the pole up. It was really cute to watch the two of them together. Luke talked about it non stop and has asked several times since to go fishing.

My friend Nikki brought two of her kids, Annie Kate and Henry, over to play one afternoon and Luke was in Heaven! He has only played with them a couple of times but he just thinks they are the greatest.

Camping

Last weekend we went camping with the Gonzalez's. What a great time. We camped up near Pineview and it was great to get away. Luke and Jack love hanging out, so they thought this was the greatest thing ever. Thanks to the Gonzalez's for always putting up with the Morley's so we can have great adventures!
