Laughing Luke

Luke was in the funniest mood tonight during his bath. He is the cutest kid ever (of course I am biased:)) so we thought we would share this video of him!

Play Day with Jackson and Tommy!

Today Luke and I got to watch Jack for a few hours while his mom is out of town and his dad is at work. He and Luke are 5 weeks apart so I now have a slim glimpse of what it would be like to have twins! Jack was so good and he and Luke and fun babbling at each other and taking eath other's toys! Mid-morning Steph and Tommy came over to play as well. What cute boys!!!

Happy Half Birthday!

On the 10th Luke turned 6 months old! I can't believe it. It seems like he was just barely born. At his six month check up he was off the charts again, 22 pounds and 29 inches long.

Here's our big boy at six months

Here is something weird. Whenever Luke eats any of the fruit baby food he gets this red streak on his left cheek and his ear turns red. It appears almost instantly when he takes his first bite. I took this picture to show his pediatrician.

Bath Time!

When Luke was a newborn he loved taking hot showers, but now it is all about the bath. He can't get in there fast enough and start grabbing his toys. He absolutely loves playing in the bath. Don't you just love the rolls!

Playing Catch Up Once Again

Okay, so I have been a serious slacker when it comes to blogging but hopefully that will change now that my Christmas present arrived (Barrett bought me a new cute green laptop and I love it!)

Luke loves to play with his dad (I'm pretty sure his dad loves it too!)

Fun Times for Christmas!

Well, it has been quite awhile since I've posted, so this will be a catch up post. We've been busy getting ready for Christmas and getting Luke insured. Luke was denied again by our insurance even after his check up with the specialists, so we finally got him on HIPUtah(insurance for uninsurable people) this week. That was our Christmas miracle! HIPUtah is much more affordable than paying COBRA, so we feel really blessed. On a side note, I now know basically all there is to know about private insurance so if anyone has a question let me know:)!! Christmas was wonderful and thanks to everyone who spoiled Luke!!!

Anyway, here are some pictures of Christmas morning

Christmas morning at Grandma Wendy's. For some reason this is the only picture that turned out from there, so below is a picture of Luke and Grandma Wendy on Thanksgiving.

Mmmmmm Good

Okay, so Luke and I seriously struggled yesterday. Every time I gave him a bite of carrots he would grab the spoon and try to do it himself. Here is the result:

He probably would have licked it clean if I would have let him!

All cleaned up!
